The above article is one of the most poor excuses for journalism that I have ever seen. After a trial that involved a change of evidence by the lead investigator, I am still hounded by articles that do not represent the truth such as this by Cindy Horstman. I had no relationship to a pill mill or ANY DOCTORS IN COUNSELING THEM IN DIVERSION OF NARCOTICS. I had a legitimate clinic with lab testing, Histories, Physicals, echocardiograms, sonograms, and specialty referral all for a global fee. Yes I was successful for taking care of families for a global fee. Yes I had a pain management component. ALL MY CHARTS ARE DICTATED AND AVAILABLE FOR INSPECTION DONE BY AMSYS IT. THIS ARTICLE NEEDS TO BE REMOVED BECAUSE I WAS NOT ON TRIAL FOR HAVING A PILL MILL.  In fact I was on trial for being successful. I had no relationship to the clinics above.  Alonzo Peters MD

This above was printed to the comments part in response to an article in the Houston Chronicle later moving to Chron.com involving a series of clinics and involving an accidental overdose and pill mills. I had no relationship to either of these particulars. In fact our clinics successfully cured 2 women who acknowledged their addictions. One worked with horses and the other was a teacher because we had knowledge of a drug that obviated the symptoms of narcotics being removed from the diet. We also had 2 paid licensed professionals as counselors on staff that were there to help people addicted. Everyone who came in to my office swore to not be involved in any diversion. On the other hand there were pharmacists who became flagrant with diversion, that I discontinued doing business with as the record will reflect. There were also angry compounding pharmacies who were incensed at losing customers who had become my enemy. James Poindexter who lost his pharmacy license, attempted to involve me with his trouble after being convicted and sentenced to 15 years in a State trial. Somehow I became the fall-guy with evidence change on my original Federal Search Warrant from evidence in his trial involving his conviction.

It is my contention that Cindy Horswell was paid well to do the article in 2010 and stretch the associations of guilt without any reason but to take money. I had no way to answer at the time being misprisoned. I contend that the  Houston Chronicle took money also in from advertisers who helped the bottom line in a season of poor profits due to internet competition. This flagrant activity was committed in 2010, but it continues to be listed mysteriously as two on Google searches of my name (no matter  what else gets posted).  I continue to suffer irreparable harm on a daily basis due to the falsehoods printed.

I have attempted to contact these people to no avail. I am resorting to freedom of the press. I am currently reapplying for my medical license to be renewed.
